A little about me.

My name is Jessica Mae Lincoln, you can call me Jess. I live with my beautiful family in rural Galena, IL - a historic little town. I'm a MIDWEST girl through and through! I grew up on 2 acres in unincorporated Elmhurst, IL a suburb just west of Chicago. My childhood was amazing, I spent as much time outside as possible, exploring nature with my siblings and neighborhood friends. Picking bouquets of wild flowers and being surrounded by our sanctuary of gardens is a favorite memory of mine growing up. I'm happy to report that my love of flowers and plants has grown tremendously over the years. My husband and I wanted the same for our girls, we recently built on an acre with breathtaking country landscapes that brings peace and relaxation to our busy lives. I am beyond grateful for this stunning backdrop while creating in my home studio. 

Jewelry making is my therapy. I've been designing for over 20 years. Starting as a hobby while living in Chicago, which quickly became my happy place and career. Moving to picturesque Galena, IL in 2004 was inspiration enough to open an amazing bead shop on our charming Main Street. Which lead me to Vintaj, blessed to have had an exciting 17 year career as a co-owner, designer, and educator. Thankful to be a part of such an innovative industry, and for all my talented friends I have met along my journey.

I'm a busy mom, wife, daughter and sister. My family means everything to me! Slowing down, finding balance, and more time to do what I love, is what I look forward to the most. I hope you are inspired as you browse my handcrafted jewelry collections and jewelry making kits.
